DuPont

DuPont has been an excellent long since the sale of Invista. Think about it. You no longer have thousands of scientists working for a company bogged down with old line and dirty businesses of nylon, polyester monomer, and polyester fiber manufacturing. Suddenly they are free to move forward, not be trapped in the past. I mean, you can move forward with one foot in the future and one foot in the past, but it depends on which way you are facing when you move. Now there are no more worries whether Dupont faces the future or the past, there is only the present, and the future. Live in the moment baby, but latch onto the future.

DuPont blossoms as the Science Company. They look to build a larger portion to total sales every year of products introduced in the last 5 years. And they are succeeding, and its just the beginning. The biotech business of Dupont Tate and Lyle is just emerging with Sorona, the first of a likely series of products that will reduce fossil fuel use and energy use in manufacuring. The partnership for Bio-butanol in the UK is even more recent. Crop modifications are in the works.
And so much more.
